FBCBA & CBC will be sponsoring a Thanksgiving Project for “Arms Around Broken Arrow” called “Sharefest”.

We will be collecting Thanksgiving meals for “Arms Around Broken Arrow” to distribute to needy families for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are asking all FBCBA & CBC families to support this project by bringing some or all of the food items listed below. AABA personnel will collect the donated non-perishable items each Monday leading up to Thanksgiving and will develop food baskets to include turkeys and other perishable items. The non-perishables can be brought in paper sacks and AABA personnel will take care of the rest of the process. Donated items will be collected in the main hallway on Sundays, October 28, November 4,11, & 18. Sunday School classes are encouraged to adopt this as a class project and collect enough non-perishable food items for several completed meals.

The following items are needed for each meal:

  • 1 Can Mushroom Soup
  • 2 Cans of Corn
  • 1 Can of Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Can of Sweet Potatoes (29-30oz)
  • 1 Can Pumpkin Pie Mix
  • 1 Pie Crust Mix
  • 1 Can Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Cans Fruit Cocktail
  • 2 Cans Green Beans
  • 1 Small Can of French Fried Onion Rings
  • 2 Boxes Stove Top Dressing
  • 2 Packages of Turkey Gravy
  • 1 Package of Miniature Marshmallows
  • 2 Boxes Jello
  • 1 1lb Package Brown Sugar
  • 1 Box Dried Dream Whip
  • 1 1lb Package Instant Potatoes
