History

From humble beginnings in a railroad box car to its current 90-acre "light on a hilltop" location, First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow has ministered to the Tulsa area since 1904.

In 1999, FBCBA constructed and moved into a new 1,700-seat worship center located at 100 W. Albany (61st and Elm, off the BA Expressway) on more than 90 acres of land. Construction of a 50,000 sq. ft. Education Center and adjacent Student Center was completed in March 2004.  In January of 2008 the “ARC” (athletic and recreational center) was finished being constructed and opened.  This building was the final phase of a 3 phase building program which was all done debt free!  The ARC has a full size gymnasium, running track, locker rooms, various fitness equipment, a full size commercial Kitchen, banquet facilities, 16 education rooms, a coffee lounge area, a formal dining/meeting room, along with many other fitness programs to offer the community and members of FBCBA.
